There’s a room with a view and then there’s this. Located in northeastern Bulgaria, this home (dubbed the Observation House) features a top floor with a full 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside. The home is built atop a hill and has exterior walls made from gabions. From a distance the house looks like a square, stone fort, but upon closer inspection the stunning modern features stand out. The top floor rests in the center of the structure and has glass walls and a vaulted, natural wood ceiling. The roof of the house surrounds this level and is capped off with real grass to create an elevated outdoor space. It’s an absolutely gorgeous modern design that celebrates nature. Take a look!
