Looming on the hillsides above a sleepy, quaint village in the Swiss Alps is a modern masterpiece of architecture. Part monolith and part minimalist, the home appears to be a bunker on a hill from one side and a glass-enclosed home from the other. The exterior is a flush surface of gray stones that looks remarkably smooth. It has a pitched roof made of the same stones, which gives it its monolithic qualities. The south facade is comprised entirely of floor-to-ceiling windows, resulting in a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The interior is as simple as can be. The entire is a series of large rooms with loads of open space and as few pieces of furniture as possible. The cherry on top are the tall, narrow windows that ring the perimeter and their stone shutters. Take the tour in the article below!
