A Bathroom Nightmare Becomes A Modern Dream Come True

What can you truly do with a bathroom that’s only 45 square feet? This bathroom in Toronto proves that you can do quite a bit! The original bathroom before the remodel was, honestly, an atrocity. Mismatched tiles, a bizarrely-sized mirror, and no natural light made this bathroom a nightmare. The key for the remodel was to focus on three elements: wood, white tile, and gray tile. The flooring is wood and extends the design from the rest of the home. Even the wood on the vanity is based on the kitchen cabinetry. This symmetry makes the space itself feel bigger. Large gray tiles were used for the walls and smaller white tiles were used for the shower floor. A mirror that fits in the space replaced the grossly-oversized original mirror. The homeowners were even able to cut into the wall and add a narrow window near the top of the shower, letting in at least some natural light. The finished bathroom is a remarkable upgrade! Take a look at the project in the article below!
