The idea appeals to, and can apply to, many different styles. Off-center paintings and chipped bathroom tiles tell a different story than new wallpaper and a modern aesthetic, and it’s all about expressing yourself.
But after you read the it and marvel at the perfection in its approach to relaxing, the comments section and is where it gets interesting. Just how “real” are these imperfections? Are these pictures truly embracing what it’s like to relax, live and let live? Some may be truly indicative of an organic style, while others do look like they’re trying a bit hard. It’s a good way to see what catches your own eye, though.
Keep all of this in mind when you’re looking for potential fixtures. Is it authentic to you and does it make you comfortable? “Perfect” is in the eye of the beholder. You don’t need hundreds of Instagram likes to love your house.
