The Inspired Room lives up to its name, hands-down. They aren’t promoting a fancy agenda, just telling you to dial it back, relax, and love what you love.

Courtney’s thing is silly animals, of which there is no lack when it comes to the little touches you can use to decorate any room of your house. It’s cute. It’s fun. It works. Her writing is clever and insightful.

There’s joy to be found here, reveling in small things. You’ve got to adore your larger fixtures and you can’t often customize them in silly ways, but there’s always a workaround, as she proves, showing off things like a tacky small deer head on the wall. As a fan of kitschy animal accessories, her suggestions definitely get a 10 out of 10.
