I’ll just say it – this is perhaps the most nightmarish bathroom I’ve ever seen. Tucked away like a hidden dungeon in a one-bedroom apartment in New York, this bathroom was truly appalling. Somehow the ‘70s wood paneling isn’t even the worst part about it. In fact, that might be the least repulsive part of it. A bathtub was mercilessly crammed into the narrow space and makes zero logical or geometric sense. An old, exposed pipe looks like it should come with a biohazard warning. Basically, it was a mess. Thankfully a homeowner came in and transformed it into an absolutely gorgeous modern bathroom. The tub was replaced with an appropriately-scaled shower with a frameless glass shower door and mesmerizing gray tiles on the back wall. The new, clean, white walls are a major improvement, as is the faux wood flooring. You’ll be shocked that these are the same bathrooms at all! Take a look at the incredible before and after photos in the article below!
