Modern home design and the natural world are becoming more and more intertwined. This modern family home in Denmark is the perfect example. Designed with the goal of bringing the forest inside the home, large panels of glass were installed to create dramatic feature windows that allow the forest to become a natural backdrop to family life. The deciduous trees allow for a year-long, ever-changing view of the forest. The home was restricted to single story, so a below-ground section was added for the children’s bedrooms and playrooms.
