This is one of the most unique bathroom exterior you’ve ever seen. A loft in Chelsea, Massachusetts was undergoing a renovation, which created an opportunity to have some fun with the design. Rather than putting up standard, boring walls to surround the new master bathroom, the designers decided to surround the bathroom with 40,000 wooden dowels of varying lengths that attach to the walls. The result is a mesmerizing display of artistry and utility. By varying the lengths of the dowels, the designer was able to create shelves and inlets within the walls. These became bookshelves and places to display various pieces of decor. After cutting the dowels to the appropriate length they were attached to the walls via a grid of CNC cut holes. It’s a truly jaw-dropping display. Check it out!
