A trademark of spas is that they’re relaxing and simultaneously elegant. You go to the spa to experience a world of luxury, even if it’s only for a sixty-minute massage. This spa in England is no exception, although it is truly exceptional. The Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre in London is perhaps the sleekest spa in existence. The defining characteristic is the use of Carrara marble throughout. The use of marble in the steam room makes the space look both undeniably modern while still exuding the atmosphere of an old-world Roman bathhouse. The spa also features incredible use of wood as evidenced by the dome-ceilinged sauna, which is comprised entirely of hemlock planks. Ever element is unreal.
