Bathroom Cabinets

A good bathroom cabinet is the reason your counter stays clear. Towels, backup toilet paper, the hair dryer, the spare toothpaste: all of it needs a home that isn't the edge of the tub or the crowded space under the sink. We built this collection around the storage that lives beside and above the vanity, so every piece here is a cabinet, not a sink base. If you're after the cabinet your sink sits in, that's our bathroom sink cabinets.

Everything below comes from Wyndham Collection and is designed as a companion to a matching Wyndham vanity series, so the tower beside your sink and the cabinet over your toilet read as one plan. If you already know you need towel storage that stands on the floor, start with our bathroom linen cabinets.

Start with the wall you actually have

Most people shop by style first. We'd flip that. Stand in the room with a tape measure and look at three places: the floor beside the vanity, the wall above the toilet, and any gap between the vanity and the shower. Whichever is open decides the type of cabinet before finish enters the conversation.

Above the toilet

The wall over the tank is the most overlooked stretch of space in most bathrooms. Our bathroom wall cabinets are made for exactly that spot, with two soft-close doors, three storage levels, and a mounted body that keeps the floor clear. It's the over the toilet storage answer for a powder room or a small bathroom where every inch of floor is already spoken for. Mount it into studs or proper blocking, never drywall alone, because a loaded bathroom storage cabinet gets heavier than you'd think.

Beside the vanity

If you have a strip of open floor next to the sink, a linen tower gives you the most storage per square foot in the room. Most of our tall bathroom cabinets pair drawers with shelved cabinet storage, so the daily things go in drawers and the extra towels go behind the door. The mistake we see most is forgetting depth. Before you order, check that the cabinet won't block the shower door swing or the toilet flush handle.

No drilling required

Renting, or just not ready to open up a wall? Our freestanding bathroom cabinets stand on their own and move with you when you do. We'd still add a small anti-tip strap at the top. A linen tower full of towels is top heavy, and that strap takes five minutes to install.

Match the cabinet to the vanity, not the other way around

The vanity is the anchor of the room, so let it lead. Each cabinet here shares its name with a Wyndham vanity series, which means the door profile, the finish, and the hardware are meant to line up. A Daria tower next to a Daria vanity looks built in. Two pieces from different series, even in the same color, rarely do.

Finish and hardware

You'll find painted finishes in white, gray, dark gray and dark blue, plus espresso and natural white oak. If you can't match your vanity exactly, match the temperature: warm wood with warm wood, cool gray with cool gray. Then match the metal. Brushed chrome, polished chrome and brushed nickel trims all show up across these series. Keep one metal on the whole wall.

What makes a bathroom cabinet last

Steam, splashes and daily door slams find every weak joint. Three things matter more than looks.

Construction that handles humidity

These cabinets are built from solid wood, plywood and other cabinet-grade materials, then sealed with a water-resistant, low VOC finish applied over a multi-stage sanding and finishing process. That seal is what keeps a door from swelling after a year of hot showers.

Hardware you touch every day

Concealed soft-close hinges are standard across the collection. You'll appreciate them at six in the morning.

Ventilation still matters

No finish replaces a working exhaust fan. Run it through your shower and until the mirror clears, and let towels dry fully before they go back on the shelf. A damp stack inside a closed cabinet is the fastest route to a musty smell.

Putting the wall together

Our favorite layout for a full bathroom is simple: the vanity in the middle, a linen tower on the open side, and a wall cabinet over the toilet from the same series. Storage gets split by how often you reach for it, the floor stays open, and the whole wall reads as one continuous piece. Pick the finish in daylight, right next to your tile, and the room will look planned from the doorway.
